Soziale Fragen werden erhoben, ob ein solches Familienmuster eigentlich als normal betrachtet werden kann. Nach den aktuellsten Umfragen haben die USA mit 34% den h\u00f6chsten Prozentsatz der Alleinerziehenden, Kanada 22%, Australien 20% und D\u00e4nemark 19%. In den Industriel\u00e4ndern, in denen die au\u00dferehelichen Geburten zunehmen, wie z. B. Entweder als Folge einer Scheidung oder Trennung vom Partner, oder einer au\u00dferehelichen Schwangerschaft, wird dieses Familienmodell (Alleinerziehende(r) und Kind(er)) jedoch mittlerweile zunehmend zu einer gemeinsamen Option f\u00fcr Frauen, die im Berufsleben stehen oder auch weiblichen Paaren, die durch Samenspende im unterst\u00fctzten Reproduktionsverfahren (IUI oder IVF) schwanger werden wollen. Seit kurzem, &#8211; auch f\u00fcr M\u00e4nner eine M\u00f6glichkeit. In vielen L\u00e4ndern suchen auch M\u00e4nner nach L\u00f6sungen, um eine Vaterschaft ohne Partnerin zu \u00fcbernehmen, wie z.B. durch Eizellspende oder Leihmutterschaft. Bis vor kurzem war nur die Adoption eine L\u00f6sung f\u00fcr heterosexuelle Paare ihren Kinderwunsch zu verwirklichen. \u201e\u2026Doch ist es ein Prozess, der nicht nur kompliziert, sondern auch zeitraubend ist\u2026\u201d, sagt Harun Sunda in seinem Artikel auf gayswithkids.com. Harun Sunda und sein Ehemann ziehen ihre beiden Kinder gemeinsam auf, die sie mit dem Verfahren der Eizellspende und der Leihmutterschaft bekommen haben.
