bereits in den fr\u00fchesten Stadien dessen Entwicklung. Die Pr\u00e4implantationsdiagnostik (PID) ist die Kontrolle des Gesundheitsstatus des Embryos vor dem Embryotransfer bzw. Implantation, n\u00e4mlich bevor der Embryo in die Geb\u00e4rmutter \u00fcbertragen wird,\u00a0 &#8211; deshalb vor Beginn der Schwangerschaft.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Dank dieser Untersuchung sind wir in der Lage \u00fcber viele Funktionen der Physiologie dieses neuen Organismuses sehr genau Bescheid zu wissen\u00a0 und auch Information \u00fcber das Erbgut des Embryos zu entnehmen. Die entstandenen Embryonen werden vor der \u00dcbertragung in die Geb\u00e4rmutter genetisch getestet. Genauer gesagt, bei der k\u00fcnstlichen Befruchtung versucht man mehr als eine Eizelle in vitro (im Labor, au\u00dferhalb des menschlichen K\u00f6rpers) befruchten zu lassen, um die Chancen einer Schwangerschaft zu erh\u00f6hen. Die PID wird in den ersten Tagen der fetalen Entwicklung bei einem IVF-Verfahren durchgef\u00fchrt, wobei eine oder zwei Zellen, aus der Gesamtzahl von 6 bis 10 Zellen, entnommen werden, die ein sich entwickelnder Embryo in diesem Stadium hat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Das aus den Embryozellen entnommene genetische Material, wird in ein Speziallabor geschickt, um es auf Chromosomenanomalien oder anderen monogenetischen Erkrankungen zu testen. Durch die Durchf\u00fchrung einer PID k\u00f6nnen Chromosomenanomalien (Down-Syndrom, Trisomie 13, Trisomie 18 und andere Trisomien) und monogenetische Erkrankungen (wie Thalass\u00e4mie A und B, zystische Fibrose, vom Geschlecht des Embryos abh\u00e4ngige Erkrankungen, die so genannte geschlechtsgebundene Erkrankungen, polyzystische Nierenerkrankung, etc.) diagnostiziert werden. Dies wird jedoch nicht empfohlen, da aufgrund des st\u00e4rkeren Zusammenhaltes der Zellen in diesem Stadium der embryonalen Entwicklung, eine erh\u00f6hte Verletzungsgefahr besteht.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Das Verfahren der Pr\u00e4implantationsdiagnostik wird in Europa seit Anfang der 1990er Jahre und in Griechenland w\u00e4hrend der letzten 10 Jahre in spezialisierten IVF-Zentren angewandt.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Die Risiken solcher Untersuchung betreffen vor allem den Zustand des Embryos nach der Durchf\u00fchrung der PID. Die Wissenschaft erlaubt es nun, mit einer Erfolgsquote von 99%, das Geschlecht des Kindes auszuw\u00e4hlen. Allerdings muss man hier sagen, dass gem\u00e4\u00df \u00a7 26 des Gesetzes 3305\/2005, die Auswahl des Geschlechts nur aus medizinischen Gr\u00fcnden erlaubt ist. Solche Gr\u00fcnde beziehen sich z.B. auf Paare mit abnormen Genen in ihren Geschlechtschromosomen. In diesem Fall, wenn Sie ein Kind eines bestimmten Geschlechts bekommen, wird es gesund geboren, w\u00e4hrend ein Kind anderen Geschlechts, krankhaft geboren wird. Dank der M\u00f6glichkeit der Geschlechtsauswahl mit der Anwendung der PID, w\u00e4hlen wir nur die geschlechtsspezifischen Embryonen, von denen nur gesunde Kinder geboren werden.
